Description: intense ruby ​​red color. The nose shows great aromas of ripe fruit, plum, dried fruit and jam. In the mouth it reconfirms and accentuates the olfactory sensations with very fruity notes. Very well balanced wine between sweetness and acidity with excellent structure.

Pairing: wine to be paired with desserts and particularly suitable with "dry" pastries or blue cheeses.

Origin: from the hill of Castelrotto, in the heart of the historic Valpolicella, on the south-east ridge of Monte Dall’Ora at about 150/200 meters above sea level on shallow calcareous soils. Pergola breeding for 30/40 years.

Harvest: the harvest begins around 10 September, selecting the best bunches in wooden trays placed in the loft to dry naturally for about 4 months.

Vinification and Aging: vinification in February with maceration for about 15 days, spontaneous fermentation and natural settling in the winter cold. Gravity tanks without using mechanical pumps. Aging in small French oak barrels for 36 months and then in the bottle.
