Natalino Del Prete

When it comes to wine production, Natalino del Prete is a pioneer in Puglia. In general, the wines of this region are mechanically harvested, chemically grown and mass-produced in massive tank farms. Natalino, however, stands out from the crowd. It farms just seven hectares of vineyards without the use of mechanization or chemicals. He is a third-generation winemaker and the first to focus on farming his up to 80-year-old vines sustainably and organically. The ferments are natural, contain no sulphur (or any other additives) and you won't find any new wood with him.
