Poderi Sanguineto is a winery whose strength comes from its bond with tradition.
Aware of the strength of this bond with the land, they dedicate their energies to caring for and respecting the vineyard as a living creature, fostering the natural growth cycle of the vines without any type of invasive intervention.
The vineyard neither uses systemic and antifungal products, nor any exaggerated fertilisation or preventative treatments, intervening only when diseases appear by using only sulphur and copper.
Certainly this process makes cultivation of the vineyard more difficult and demanding, but it ensures the realisation of a product that respects nature and the territory.
All production processes adopted in the winery are oriented towards the utmost respect of the wine-making tradition, beginning with natural fermentation of grapes from autochthonous vines through aging in large oak barrels.
The utmost care for the product and respect for tradition are dedicated to the production of one of the wines considered emblematic of Italian production, the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano
The passion dedicated to the land and to the cultivation of autochthonous vines has allowed them to produce high quality wines. They grow the Prugnolo Gentile, Mammolo, Malvasia, Trebbiano, Grechetto and black Canaiolo grapes in order to produce five DOCG, DOC and IGT labels.
In the vineyard they do not use synthetic plant protection products, and in the cellar they use only indigenous yeasts that permit a spontaneous and natural fermentation.
Just because they want nature to take its course.
