The basis for this sparkling wine is a Riesling Reserve wine from the 2015 vintage. It aged for 24 months in 1,000 liter "Mosel Fuder" barrels on the fine lees before being bottled.
After the second fermentation in the bottle, the Riesling Sekt matured for a further three and a half years in bottle. The first batch was disgorged in August 2021.
