Grape variety: Greco

Greco Adam is an orange wine with a frank and territorial profile, the result of a spontaneous vinification with maceration on the skins for four days and aging of at least one year in used barrels. Mediterranean and unique, it features aromas of citrus peel, honey, light volatile notes, iodized and mineral hints. The sip is disruptive, rich and of great personality, with a saline system and a great tension brought by a vibrant freshness.

This artisan wine is a vital, sunny and full liquid, a masterful interpretation of a legendary winery in the world of artisanal wine. Cantina Giardino is a reality that has been a permanent name in the hearts of enthusiasts for almost 20 years, thanks to its ability to describe an area in a visceral and engaging way. The project was born from the common passion of a group of friends led by Antonio Di Gruttola, who decided to take over some hectares of vineyard in Ariano Irpino, acquiring old vines of local grape varieties, such as Aglianico, Fiano, Greco, Coda di Volpe and Falanghina, the latter being added more recently. The style of the winery reflects the non-invasive approach both in the vineyard and in the cellar.

The white Adam is obtained from pure Greco from vineyards located near Ariano Irpino. In the vineyard the approach is non-interventionist and respectful of the vitality of plants and soil. No chemical or synthetic substances are used. In the cellar alcoholic fermentation takes place spontaneously and in the case of Adam a four day maceration on the skins is practiced. Finally it ages for 12 months in second passage barrels and does not undergo clarification or filtration before bottling.

In the glass it has a golden yellow hue rimmed with orange reflections. A warm and deep nose, a note of volatile acidity, citrus peel, acacia honey, Mediterranean wild herbs. The taste is rhythmic and energetic, enlivened by acidity and salinity, adding persistence.

Color: Golden yellow with veiled orange reflections

Scent: Notes of citrus peel, acacia honey, dried fruit and light ethereal nuances.

Taste: Intense, straightforward, with great personality, territorial and saline notes, with a pleasant acetic note.
