Grape variety: Montepulciano, Sangiovese

The tradition of the reds of Cupramontana provided for the assembly of different grapes and short macerations.

So the Nocenzio.

It comes from an assembly of Sangiovese and Montepulciano from different plots, all in Cupramontana. The most important of these is a small 1973 plot at the bottom of the Valle district, suspended in a wild place. Here white, calcareous and chalky marls emerge (Schlier Formation - Miocene).

It is vinified without sulfur in wooden vats with a good proportion of whole grapes not destemmed. The alcoholic fermentation then ends in steel.

It is an agile but by no means trivial red wine, to be drunk chilled in large gulps.
