Santuaria Terre a Mano 2019

Santuraia is a single-varietal Sangiovese from a small 1-hectare vineyard not far from the winery. The grapes are harvested by hand. Like all of Rossella Bencini's vineyards, this one is also cultivated biodynamically. The majority of the harvest is fermented spontaneously with whole grapes. The wine then matures in used barriques for at least 12 months.
It fascinates with its complexity, its densely woven body, its juiciness and the intense flavours of dark berries and spices. Pure pleasure!
