Grape variety: Pinot Nero
Very special vintage for Fabrizio, where overall he begins finding another level, so the 2016 is richer and it goes back to an Italian Pinot Noir but because of the elegance refinement and sophistication level that he has reached with 2016, the wine has also grown very much.
So three exciting vintages 2013 - more bottle aging 2014 - more lightness of being 2016 - Beautiful wine.
Fabrizio is a passionate fan of the wines of Burgundy (the really good ones!) and in 1999 he took up his own challenge to make a similar wine in the Monferrato and planted a hectare of vines. He trust the minerality and the freshness of the territory will underline the elegance and delicacy of this variety.
He called it Nino, because at this stage it seems like a child: delicate, fun, with lots of fruit, clean and young.
