Grape varieties: Malvasia di Candia, Trebbiano, Ortrugo, Sauvignon, Marsanne
This typical blend of the Piacenza hills comes from vineyards in the municipality of Castell'Arquato, in the Monterosso area. The harvest is carried out manually in boxes, the fermentation of Croci's Colli Piacentini DOC Frizzante "Monterosso Val d'Arda" 2014 takes place in steel with maceration for 7-11 days and the second fermentation in the bottle, with aging on the lees for 12 months .
Tasting notes: At sight, bright straw yellow color. The nose expresses typical aromas of yellow pulp fruit, white flowers and aromatic herbs, with a hint of bread crust. The sip is clean and balanced. Dry, fresh and quite soft. It spreads pleasantly on fruit aromas.
Pairings: Monterosso Val d'Arda goes wonderfully with appetizers or main courses of fish or not very elaborate pasta dishes. Also excellent as an aperitif.
